About Me
I first set up my own gardening business when I was 17, doing work in private gardens and also a couple of days a week for a local caravan park.
In 2019 I had an opportunity to go to New Zealand for just over a year where I worked on a kiwi fruit orchard pruning the vines in the Coromandel, I picked blueberries in the Bay of Plenty and then worked on a tree nursery in Gisborne. Then Covid hit, the world shut down and my trip was cut (slightly) short.
Back at home in Cornwall there was not much work around due to the pandemic so I got a job as a labourer on a construction site. I ended up working there for 3 years, the guys I worked with were fantastic and taught me a lot but I just wanted to be gardening!
I have just got back from spending 2 years in Western Australia and Tasmania. I worked at a tree nursery in Devonport (Tasmania) and picked cherries in the Huon Valley (Tasmania). While in Western Australia I worked as a gardener for a council run caravan park in Augusta for 9 months and fell back in love with the job! At the caravan parked we used commercial grade battery equipment and I was blown away by the power, run time and how quiet it was. Working at the caravan park re-ignited my love and passion for gardening, and made me determined to peruse gardening as a my career when I returned home to Cornwall, so here we are. My first year in business, but with many years experience under my belt. I am looking forward to what the future holds!
